Born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Long Island, New York, Alicia Nurse has built a distinguished career spanning customer service, brand operations, and hospitality consulting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Southern Adventist University and an MBA from Strayer University.
Nurse began her career with Marriott International, gaining hands-on experience in hospitality operations. At just 22, she became the company’s youngest Assistant General Manager in the Southeastern United States—a clear reflection of her drive and leadership. Recognizing her ability to elevate customer experience, LRA Worldwide recruited her on the spot.
At LRA, Nurse broke new ground as the first African American woman promoted to Senior Business Solutions Analyst. Following LRA’s acquisition by Deloitte in 2015, she played a pivotal role in launching three multi-million-dollar accounts across the hospitality and retail sectors. Her work has taken her to six continents and more than 70 countries, helping organizations refine customer experience strategies and strengthen their brands.
Today, Nurse draws on her global expertise to help businesses reach their full potential in customer experience and brand excellence. And if you’re wondering—she simply goes by “Nurse.”
